 Kennelwood is a small kennel in south-western Ontario devoted to breeding German Shepherd Dogs that epitomize the qualities of this magnificent breed. Breeding German Shepherds is truly a passion of ours. While we strive to breed dogs that continually meet or exceed the standards of our breeding philosophy, we are continually amazed by how these dogs form such an integral part of both our lives, and in the lives of the their new owners. Through a dedicated approach, and a genuine passion for this breed, we have, over the past twenty-eight years, worked diligently to accomplish the goals of our breeding program. Throughout this process, we have loved and enjoyed our dogs, learned continuously, and met some truly wonderful people. As we continue working with German Shepherd Dogs, we hope to build on the successes of the previous one, whilst achieving some new goals. Most of all, we want to continue working and playing with our dogs from the sheer love of it. During the past twenty years we have produced more than 60 champions. We have achieved many Select titles, and Futurity and Maturity winners, and most of all a Canadian Grand Victor, “Hoheneichen’s Conan Survival”. Conan was five times U.S. Select, an awesome record! He is the foundation of our bloodlines and we still have some of his great-grandkids! |
